Joy on the Corner. Garden Mural
During lockdown, hoarding went up next door, and I saw it as the perfect chance to bring some joy to the street. I painted bold, vivid shapes directly onto the boards, and soon neighbours were stopping, smiling, chatting and taking photos.
The project reinforced for me the power of public space and visual storytelling — how colourful design can transform our everyday surroundings. I’d love to take this further by exploring large-scale textiles or flags that surprise, connect, and leave a lasting impression.
