Joy on the Corner
public art / garden mural
During lockdown, I created a hand-painted street mural on temporary hoarding, using bold, vivid shapes and colour to bring joy to an everyday street corner. Painted directly onto the 6m x 1.5m boards, the artwork became a point of interaction as neighbours stopped, smiled, chatted and took photos.
The project explores how colour and public space interact, and how visual storytelling can transform everyday surroundings.
