Considered Colour was a hand screen-printed and hand-dyed textile collection. It exhibited at Premiere Vision, Paris and New Designers. Numerous pieces where bought by White Stuff, which where turned into a 'Meeting Roberta' womenswear collection. 

 

This personal project was an intense exploration into colour. I became obsessed and intrigued with how colours could be made, seen and worked together in unusual ways. I hand-dyed all my fabric and only printed with dye because I enjoyed this mathematical yet risky process. In every textile piece there a fine line between experimentation and control of dye. The largest textile piece I produced was a striking 3m x 1.5m length.  I also designed an interactive book, where colour swatches could be moved and played with in order to create new palettes and compositions.
