Workspace Murals
 

The brief was to bring life to a blank wall in Wallacespace’s 150-person kitchen in Clerkenwell. I took inspiration from Italian designer Gio Ponti, the theme of the ‘Penthouse’ meeting room, which also features a mural I created in 2022 (shown below). 

 

For the kitchen mural, I began with abstract forms and then layered in subtle dining references, shapes like a wine glass and cutlery. The final design is bold and graphic, complementing the nearby propagation station and even inspiring the look of Wallacespace’s menus.
